MANOWAR have added yet another ‘first’ on their ‘Gods And Kings World Tour 2016’!

Minsk’s Metamorphose String Orchestra will open MANOWAR’s first ever show in Belarus on February 16, 2016.
They will perform a selection from their own repertoire, as well as interpretations of some of MANOWAR’s most orchestral pieces.

With conductor Pavel Lyubomudrov at the helm, Metamorphose String Orchestra is a group of young talents united in their devotion for classical music.

“We are very excited about this collaboration!” said Joey DeMaio. “The feedback on our announcements for Stavanger (Norway) where a local orchestra and solo artists will perform and for Trollhättan (Sweden) where local school choirs will open for us, has been sensational! We are certain that the experience in Minsk will be equally outstanding. We can’t wait for our first performance for the Manowarriors of Belarus! And remember: Classical music was the first Metal!”

The ‘Gods And Kings World Tour 2016’ celebrates Kings Of Metal MMXIV as well as the upcoming anniversary of Gods Of War in a majestic stage design that follows the musical theme of the tour, catapulting the audience into a different time and place, full of ancient monuments, demons, kings and more.
“For the length of our concert you will be living in ancient Rome, Greece and Valhalla!” said Joey DeMaio.

The set list will be packed with fan favorites from both albums, other classics and special surprises.

MANOWAR’s first appearance in Belarus on February 16, 2016 in Minsk’s Sports Palace concludes the tour that kicked off on January 14, 2016 in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Our show on February 8th 2016 in Tallinn (Estonia) is officially SOLD OUT!

We are pleased to announce that a SECOND show has been added for Tallinn on February 10th, again at the Rock Cafe Tallinn.

This event replaces the show scheduled for Vilnius (Lithuania) for February 10th 2016 that RL Entertainment Baltics have announced canceled due to inadequate performance by their Lithuanian partner.

MANOWAR have recently revealed insights into the theme of the tour, and the scope of this monumental production: The “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016” will be equipped with 300,000 Watts for bombastic sound and over 150 m² of high resolution 6k LED panels for visual indulgence.

“The previous tour celebrated “Kings Of Metal MMXIV”. The production was big and featured elements that we had not done before.” said Joey DeMaio. “It was more of a multi-media experience, with videos linking the songs and their conception, telling the story of our fans and our lives, capturing the energy on stage and off…”

The new tour will keep highlights from the “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” tour, but stack up even more for the fans.

“With the 10-year anniversary of “Gods Of War” upon us the Kings will this time be joined in their battle by the Gods Of War! Naturally, the “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016” will be more massive than the “Kings Of Metal MMXIV World Tour”! The 2015 tour was big. But nothing compared to what you’ll experience on the 2016 tour!” explained Joey DeMaio.

Während einer Pressekonferenz in Bochum enthüllte Joey DeMaio vor deutschen und internationalen Pressevertretern und weiteren Gästen die Bühnendesigns für die bevorstehende MANOWAR “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016”, die am 14. Januar 2016 startet.

“Diese neue Produktion ist vollgepackt mit allem wovon MANOWAR Fans träumen können: Massiver Sound, sensationelle visuelle Effekte und all die Hymnen die unsere Fans lieben!” sagte Joey DeMaio. “Wir können es kaum erwarten diese monumentale Fantasywelt für unsere Fans auf der Bühne zum Leben zu erwecken!”

“Monumental” ist nicht nur das Motto der Tour sondern auch das Ausmaß der Produktion:
300.000 Watt für bombastischen Sound und über 150 m² hochauflösende 6k LED Panel für visuellen Genuß powern die bislang gewaltigste Indoor Produktion in der MANOWAR Tourgeschichte. Ein wahres Fest für Augen und Ohren. Die Produktion wird mit 6 LKW und 5 Bussen mehr als 8.000 km durch 12 Länder reisen. Über 100 spezialisierte Crewmitglieder werden hinter den Kulissen an dieser spektakulären Show beteiligt sein.

Die Pressekonferenz in Bochum war außerdem die Bühne für die Weltpremiere dreier Musikvideos mit denen MANOWAR ihre weltweite loyale Fangemeinde feiern: Vorgestellt wurden : ‘Heart Of Steel MMXIV’, ‘Warriors Of The World United’ und ‘The Dawn Of Battle’. Die beiden letztgenannten Songs wurden live beim Monsters Of Rock Brazil 2015 Festival vor 40.000 Fans aufgenommen.

“Diese Videos sind ein Dankeschön an unsere Fans; die besten Fans in der Welt!” sagte Joey DeMaio. “Denjenigen die noch keine MANOWAR Show gesehen haben geben diese Videos eine Idee von der unvergleichlichen Liebe die wir fühlen wenn wir auf die Bühne gehen, und der Elektrizität welche die Band und die besten Fans der Welt verbindet. Es gibt keine Inspiration die größer ist; keine Belohnung für das was wir tun, die besser ist!”

MANOWAR werden ihre Metal Hymnen und ihren berühmten Sound – laut aber glasklar – im Januar/Februar 2016 auf einer Tour durch Europa feiern, die sie in die Tschechische Republik, Polen, Slovakei und Deutschland führt, und weiter nach Dänemark, Norwegen, Schweden, Estland, Lettland, Litauen, Finnland und – zum ersten Mal überhaupt – nach Weißrussland.

“Diese Tour wird ein echtes Multimedia Erlebnis!” erklärte DeMaio. “Wir haben monatelang pausenlos mit unseren Kreativteams und Produktionsdesignern exklusive Audio- und Videoinhalte produziert, die wir nun vorstellen werden. Das Motto der Tour, musikalisch und visuell, ist “Götter und Könige” und genau das werden wir unseren Fans geben! Die Show wird die Zuschauer in eine andere Zeit und an einen andern Ort katapultieren: Es gibt antike Monumente, Dämonen, Könige und … Nun ja, ich kann nicht alles verraten! Es wird wie am Set eines epischen Films sein. Oder besser noch: für die Länge unseres Konzerts wirst du dich fühlen wie im antiken Rom oder Griechenland – und in Valhalla.”

Die “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016” feiert das “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” Album sowie das anstehende Jubiläum des “Gods Of War” Albums, das 2007 weltweit entfesselt wurde.
