Während einer Pressekonferenz in Bochum enthüllte Joey DeMaio vor deutschen und internationalen Pressevertretern und weiteren Gästen die Bühnendesigns für die bevorstehende MANOWAR “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016”, die am 14. Januar 2016 startet.

“Diese neue Produktion ist vollgepackt mit allem wovon MANOWAR Fans träumen können: Massiver Sound, sensationelle visuelle Effekte und all die Hymnen die unsere Fans lieben!” sagte Joey DeMaio. “Wir können es kaum erwarten diese monumentale Fantasywelt für unsere Fans auf der Bühne zum Leben zu erwecken!”

“Monumental” ist nicht nur das Motto der Tour sondern auch das Ausmaß der Produktion:
300.000 Watt für bombastischen Sound und über 150 m² hochauflösende 6k LED Panel für visuellen Genuß powern die bislang gewaltigste Indoor Produktion in der MANOWAR Tourgeschichte. Ein wahres Fest für Augen und Ohren. Die Produktion wird mit 6 LKW und 5 Bussen mehr als 8.000 km durch 12 Länder reisen. Über 100 spezialisierte Crewmitglieder werden hinter den Kulissen an dieser spektakulären Show beteiligt sein.

Die Pressekonferenz in Bochum war außerdem die Bühne für die Weltpremiere dreier Musikvideos mit denen MANOWAR ihre weltweite loyale Fangemeinde feiern: Vorgestellt wurden : ‘Heart Of Steel MMXIV’, ‘Warriors Of The World United’ und ‘The Dawn Of Battle’. Die beiden letztgenannten Songs wurden live beim Monsters Of Rock Brazil 2015 Festival vor 40.000 Fans aufgenommen.

“Diese Videos sind ein Dankeschön an unsere Fans; die besten Fans in der Welt!” sagte Joey DeMaio. “Denjenigen die noch keine MANOWAR Show gesehen haben geben diese Videos eine Idee von der unvergleichlichen Liebe die wir fühlen wenn wir auf die Bühne gehen, und der Elektrizität welche die Band und die besten Fans der Welt verbindet. Es gibt keine Inspiration die größer ist; keine Belohnung für das was wir tun, die besser ist!”

MANOWAR werden ihre Metal Hymnen und ihren berühmten Sound – laut aber glasklar – im Januar/Februar 2016 auf einer Tour durch Europa feiern, die sie in die Tschechische Republik, Polen, Slovakei und Deutschland führt, und weiter nach Dänemark, Norwegen, Schweden, Estland, Lettland, Litauen, Finnland und – zum ersten Mal überhaupt – nach Weißrussland.

“Diese Tour wird ein echtes Multimedia Erlebnis!” erklärte DeMaio. “Wir haben monatelang pausenlos mit unseren Kreativteams und Produktionsdesignern exklusive Audio- und Videoinhalte produziert, die wir nun vorstellen werden. Das Motto der Tour, musikalisch und visuell, ist “Götter und Könige” und genau das werden wir unseren Fans geben! Die Show wird die Zuschauer in eine andere Zeit und an einen andern Ort katapultieren: Es gibt antike Monumente, Dämonen, Könige und … Nun ja, ich kann nicht alles verraten! Die “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016” feiert das “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” Album sowie das anstehende Jubiläum des “Gods Of War” Albums, das 2007 weltweit entfesselt wurde.
Die Set Liste wird vollgepackt sein mit Highlights von beiden Alben, sowie vielen anderen Hymnen und besonderen Überraschungen, präsentiert in einer spektakulären Bühnenproduktion, ganz unter dem Motto der Tour – Götter und Könige.

During a press conference held in Bochum (Germany) Joey DeMaio unveiled to German and international journalists and to special guests the stage designs for MANOWAR’s upcoming “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016” that will kick off on January 14, 2016.

“This new production is packed with everything a MANOWAR fan can dream of: Massive sound, sensational visuals, and all of the anthems our fans love!” said Joey DeMaio. “We are extremely excited to bring this monumental world of fantasy to life on stage for our fans!”

“Monumental” is not only the motto of the tour but also the scope of the production:
300,000 Watts for bombastic sound and over 150 m² of high resolution 6k LED panels for visual indulgence will power MANOWAR’s most expansive indoor production to date, making it a feast for eyes and ears. The production will travel with 6 trucks and 5 busses more than 8,000 km through 12 countries. Over 100 specialized crewmembers will participate behind the scenes to present a spectacular show, night after night.

The press event in Bochum was also the stage for the world premiere of three music videos celebrating MANOWAR’s worldwide loyal following: ‘The Heart Of Steel MMXIV’, ‘Warriors Of The World United’ and ‘The Dawn Of Battle’ were presented, the latter two tracks were recorded live at Monsters Of Rock Brazil 2015, in front of 40,000 fans during MANOWAR’s most recent show in 2015.

“These videos are a thank you to our fans; the greatest fans in the world!” said Joey DeMaio. “For those who have not been to a MANOWAR show yet, these videos will give them an idea of the unparalleled love we feel when we get on stage, and the electricity that burns between the band and the greatest fans in the world. There is no better inspiration, no better reward for everything we do!”

MANOWAR’s metal hymns and trademark sound – loud, yet crystal clear, will be celebrated on a tour across Europe, from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, to Lithuania, Finland and, for the first time ever, Belarus.

“This tour is a real multimedia experience!” explained DeMaio. “For months we have worked tirelessly with our creative teams and production designers creating exclusive audio and video pieces which we will premier. The motto, both musically and visually, is “Gods and Kings” and that’s what you will get! The show will catapult the audience into a different time and place: There’ll be ancient monuments, demons, kings and … Well, I can’t reveal it all! It’ll be like the set of an epic movie. Or better yet, for the length of our concert you will be living in ancient Rome, Greece and Valhalla”.

The “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016” will celebrate “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” as well as the upcoming anniversary of “Gods Of War”, which was unleashed on the world in 2007. The set list will be packed with highlights from both albums, plus many other anthems and special surprises in a magnificent new stage production inspired by the theme of the tour – Gods and Kings.

Liebe Manowar-Fans, folgende Situation ist nun offiziell für das Konzert in Erfurt:

MANOWAR Show will take place at Messehalle Erfurt!

The current situation of hospitality for refugees is a big deal for cities and communities all over Germany. Also the city of Erfurt had to establish Thüringenhalle as an emergency accommodation, which had to be seen sympathetically if you think of the doom of all these human beings.
Therefore it’s not longer possible to arrange and held events in this hall. Also already booked shows like the „Gods & Kings Tour 2016“ of the Heavy Metal band Manowar has to be moved in other venues. For the show on January 24 2016 in Erfurt there had to be found a solution and an alternative event location. With help from the city of Erfurt and lot of commitment of the Messe Erfurt, a perfect hall could be found. The only show of Manowar in eastern Germany will now be held in the Messehalle 1.

Because of this shift of the Manowar Show to Messe Erfurt it’s now possible to book seat places, which is a plus for the visitors.
Of course all of the already bought tickets keep their validity and also the ticket price of 71,00 € (plus charges) stays the same. You can buy the seat places at all known pre-selling ticket agencies.

MANOWAR Konzert wird in Messehalle Erfurt verlegt!

Die Unterbringungs-Situation für Flüchtlinge ist für Städte & Gemeinden aktuell ein riesige Herausforderung. Die Stadt Erfurt musste aufgrund der angespannten Lage die Thüringenhalle kurzfristig als Notunterkunft umnutzen, was im Hinblick auf das Schicksal dieser Menschen auch vollstes Verständnis verdient.
Da auch bereits feststehende Konzerte nun vorerst nicht mehr in der Halle stattfinden können, musste auch für die „Gods & Kings Tour 2016“ der Heavy Metal Schwergewichte von Manowar, welche am 24. Januar 2016 in Erfurt gastieren, ein Ersatz gefunden werden. Durch die Mithilfe der Stadt Erfurt und dem besonderen Engagement der Messe Erfurt konnte mit der Messehalle 1 eine perfekte Spielstätte für die einzige Show von Manowar in Mitteldeutschland gefunden werden.

Durch die Verlegung des Manowar Konzerts in die Messehalle Erfurt ergibt sich auch für die Besucher eine neue Möglichkeit: Es ist es nun möglich, Sitzplätze zu buchen!
Bereits gekaufte Tickets behalten natürlich alle ihre Gültigkeit und auch der Ticketpreis von 71,00 € im VVK zzgl. Gebühren bleibt erhalten. Die neuen Sitzplatz Tickets sind nun an allen bekannten VVK-Stellen erhältlich.

MANOWAR have added yet another first to their upcoming “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016”: A choir comprised of students from Trollhättan’s Hjortmosseskolan and Udevalla’s Västerskolan will open the MANOWAR show on February 5th 2016 at Nova Arena, Trollhättan.

Following a first successful collaboration in Germany in January 2015, MANOWAR had extended the invitation to share their stage with young classical musicians to their 2016 tour.

„We are looking forward to the first ever performance of a youth choir in one of our shows“ said Joey DeMaio. „We launched this initative to encourage young classical musicians, and acknwocklege their passion for their music and their commitment to do something that may not be considered ‚cool’ among their peers. We want to show them that standing up for what you believe in pays off, regardless what others say!“ he continued. „We know our Manowarriors will welcome these kids to our family and reward them for their courage!“

The choir members are between 14 and 16 years of age and are all studying a specialized music profile. They will perform pieces from their repertoire as well as MANOWAR songs.

On the “Gods And Kings World Tour 2016” MANOWAR will celebrate Kings Of Metal MMXIV, which many fans haven’t had a chance to experience live yet, as well as the upcoming anniversary of Gods Of War, which was unleashed on the world in 2007. The set list will be packed with fan favorites from both albums, plus many other classics and special surprises.

Salute To Our Fathers!

On November 8th, Manowarriors in our upcoming tour destinations Finland, Norway, Sweden and Estonia will be celebrating Father’s Day. We say: Any day is a good day to honor our families!

For all who will attend our show in Stavanger (Norway) on the upcoming tour, here is another special treat for you:
At this show, two local talents – vocalist Mari Lunde and Kjartan Øvrehus on guitar – accompanied by the Rogaland Youth Symphony Orchestra (RUSO) will perform “Father” (“Far”) in Norwegian.

RUSO is a county-wide youth orchestra assembled from members of the local orchestras in Rogaland county and its administrative center, Stavanger. The musicians range from 13 to 19 years of age.

As previously announced, members of the RUSO orchestra will open the MANOWAR show on February 2nd 2016, playing pieces from their own repertoire, as well as a selection of MANOWAR songs.
