Due to circumstances beyond either the promoter’s or MANOWAR’s control, the band will be unable to perform at Loud Park Festival on October 18, 2014. The band will instead play 2 concerts at Zepp Diver City in Tokyo on October 29 and October 30, 2014.
The promoters of Loud Park Festival have announced that all details about tickets will soon be available on www.loudpark.com
Due to a huge fire at the Port Of Los Angeles last week the cargo vessel transporting MANOWAR’s container to Japan was delayed, thereby arriving too late for the scheduled performance on October 18.
“MANOWAR’s equipment is custom made and an irreplaceable part of our live performance.
From the guitars, to our speaker cabinets and everything else in between. It would have been unfair to our Japanese fans to consider a solution that would have been less than 100% MANOWAR,” said Joey DeMaio.
The problems caused by the fire at the Port Of Los Angeles created such severe disruption that even the backup vessel couldn’t make it on time for the festival.
“We, along with the promoters, worked around the clock to find a solution and we are happy that we found one which allows us to give the Japanese Manowarriors the full ass-kicking power of a real MANOWAR show,” added DeMaio.

For their first German concert during the âKings Of Metal MMXIVâ World Tour in the new year MANOWAR have once again come up with something special.
Band leader and bassist Joey DeMaio announced during a press conference in Essen, Germany on October 1st that the U.S. metal rockers have invited the youth orchestra of Goetheschule Essen-Bredeney to perform on stage right before MANOWARâs âKings Of Metal MMXIVâ show on January 14, 2015 in Essenâs Grugahalle.
For their performance in front of thousands of dedicated MANOWAR fans, the young musicians, who have garnered first stage experience through performances in the region, plan to play pieces from their own repertoire as well as orchestral versions of MANOWAR classics.
The Bredeneyer Schulorchester (Bredeneyer school orchestra) was formed in 1972. A cast of 80 to 100 musicians under the guidance of Dr. Marcus Schönwitz plays works from Wagner, Beethoven, DvorĂĄk, Ravel and others, as well as popular music like the iconic title melody of sci-fi cult movie âStar Warsâ.
âWe have invited this school orchestra to represent young musicians all over the world, to show us what they are passionate about. We have offered them the opportunity to reach an audience that we know understands the tremendous power of music, and that they have more in common with than they may imagineâ explained Joey DeMaio.
âWe want to encourage teenagers to pursue their goals, regardless what others say. Especially as a young adult you are often confronted with the harsh criticism of your peers, because in their eyes you are not âcoolâ enough. Because you go to choir or orchestra practice while they play soccer or do other things that are the current trendâ said DeMaio, a doctor of music sciences and known Wagner aficionado.
âFollowing your path without doubt; standing up for what you believe in, no matter if it will gain you popularity or not⊠this is what MANOWAR and metal stand for, and this unites these young musicians with our MANOWAR fans.
Together we will make the Grugahalle shake on January 14, and show the world that music makes us strong, and is there for us when we need it. Like true brothers and sisters of metal will always be there for each other!â
MANOWAR have recently announced their return into the studio to work on their yet untitled new record and will resume their touring schedule in January 2015, among others with 3 exclusive shows in Germany; on January 14, 2015 at Grugahalle, Essen, on January 16, 2015 at Zenith, Munich and on January 17, 2015 at the sold out Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt/Main.
During the work on the new album the idea was born to invite young orchestra musicians, representative for teenagers and young adults everywhere, and to encourage them with this performance to pursue their dreams.

Wie MANOWAR Bandleader und Bassist Joey DeMaio im Rahmen einer Pressekonferenz am 1. Oktober in Essen bekannt gab, haben die amerikanischen Metal-Rocker das Jugendorchester der Goetheschule Essen-Bredeney eingeladen, unmittelbar vor MANOWARs âKings Of Metal MMXIVâ Show am 14. Januar 2015 in der Essener Grugahalle aufzutreten.
FĂŒr ihre AuffĂŒhrung vor Tausenden treuer MANOWAR Fans werden die jungen Musiker, die mit Auftritten in der Region bereits BĂŒhnenerfahrung erlangt haben, neben StĂŒcken aus ihrem eigenen Repertoire auch orchestrale Versionen beliebter MANOWAR Klassiker einstudieren.

MANOWAR have announced their return into the studio to begin working on their next studio album.
In order to concentrate on the yet unnamed new studio album, MANOWAR will postpone their U.S. tour dates in November due to scheduling conflicts. Tickets will remain valid and updates regarding new dates will be announced as soon as possible. Those who cannot attend the re-scheduled concerts will be able to get a full refund.
MANOWAR will headline Loud Park Festival in Tokyo on October 18, 2014 and will then resume the “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” World Tour with first dates in Germany in January. More 2015 dates will be announced soon!

MANOWAR haben ihre RĂŒckkehr ins Studio angekĂŒndigt, um mit der Arbeit an ihrem nĂ€chsten Studioalbum zu beginnen.
Um sich auf das noch unbenannte neue Studio-Album konzentrieren zu können, werden MANOWAR die fĂŒr November geplanten U.S. Shows wegen TerminĂŒberschneidungen verschieben. Tickets fĂŒr diese Shows behalten ihre GĂŒltigkeit und Updates bezĂŒglich neuer Termine werden so bald wie möglich bekannt gegeben. Ticketbesitzer, welche die neu terminierten Shows nicht besuchen können, werden die Möglichkeit haben ihre Tickets gegen Erstattung des Kaufpreises zurĂŒckzugeben.
MANOWAR werden am 18. Oktober 2014 als Headliner beim Loud Park Festival in Tokio auftreten und die “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” World Tour dann im neuen Jahr mit ersten Terminen in Deutschland im Januar fortsetzten. Weitere Termine fĂŒr 2015 werden demnĂ€chst bekanntgegeben!

The Celebration of the 25th anniversary of MANOWAR’s ‘Kings Of Metal’ album, one of the most iconic metal albums of all times and one of the pillars of MANOWAR’s lasting worldwide success, continues.
The ‘Kings Of Metal MMXIV’ World Tour kicked off in the U.S. this past February, making stops in the Midwest, Texas and the West Coast. But the Manowarriors demanded more and now MANOWAR is set to bring the power of true metal to further regions of the country such as the NYC Metropolitan area (Sayreville, NJ), Northeast Ohio (Cleveland, OH), Greater St. Louis (Sauget, IL), Detroit (Royal Oak, MI), Western NY (with a show in Buffalo, NY, ready to welcome our Canadian brothers and sisters from the Toronto area!), Atlanta, GA, “The Steel City” Pittsburgh, PA and a return to Chicago, IL, celebrating the city where the ‘Kings Of Metal’ album was recorded.
The set list on this world tour includes the performance of the entire ‘Kings Of Metal MMXIV’ album, and will be packed with more classics and fan favorites, new multimedia elements and more.
