Metalheads share a certain principle, which dictates that no one should ever mess with their classics. This interdiction concerns even the very same artists who originally recorded any of these classics; even they, should be careful about the way they treat a record their fans regard as a masterpiece. This is why re-recording a heavy metal album can be a double-edged knife. It worked quite well in Testamentâs case, where the bandâs post-2000 version added extra force to two albums which didnât lack quality, but lacked personality. It also worked really fine in Flotsam and Jetsamâs case, given that the re-recorded No Place for Disgrace benefited from Eric A.K.âs gracefully aged, thrashed-up voice and its modern production. Exodus on the other hand didnât quite honor their debut when re-recording it, mainly because Paul Balloffâs one of a kind vocals proved to be more than integral in Bonded by Bloodâ ultimate success. “We regret that this performance had to be canceled,” explained MANOWAR’s management. “We worked extremely hard to save this performance, but the Festival’s promoter could not meet its financial obligations, placing our performance, our fans and the production suppliers in jeopardy. The “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” World Tour is a huge production, designed especially for outdoor festivals. We have made a significant investment in this production and have made commitments to suppliers all over the world. The promoter’s inability to meet its financial obligations have made it impossible for MANOWAR to perform and to deliver the production standards MANOWAR fans have come to know and expect.”

Our fans do not care or fear a cancellation, in fact, they know it is proof of our respect for them and the performance they deserve, as well as a return of our loyalty for theirs,” said Joey DeMaio. “We will never waiver in our commitment to provide the very best performance for the very best fans; one hundred percent or nothing.”

After tickets for the first two shows were sold out within 6 minutes and 24 hours respectively, MANOWAR have confirmed an additional show for Wednesday March 26, 2014 at Rock Café in Tallinn, Estonia.
On this tour, MANOWAR will perform the entire “Kings Of Metal MMXIV” album and many other favorite hymns.
